Dear Fabulous Thistle & Clover Friends & Family,
Thank you so much for making our event such a success. We had the best time ever and we hope you did too. Tiny Test Kitchen’s almond macaroons were the toast of the party. And Thistle & Clover Diaries featured designer Dace Moore had all the fashionable gals in attendance flocking around the raffle table vying for a chance to win the ultra chic Anabella Dress. Our lucky winner was one miss Lauren Quill! We’ll be posting pics of her sitting pretty in the frock as soon as she gets it!
We had guest appearances from designers Lauren Wimmer, Max Steiner and Ellen Von Dusen, along with a handful of future open call participants. We made some new friends as well! We were delighted to acquaint ourselves with freelance writer Asanti Austin (
astylegargon) who stopped by en route to several other stylish shindigs. And Anne Szustek (59thstreetbridge) fresh off a deadline for the Anna Wintour Pratt Q & A dropped in with well wishes and a killer new 70’s inspired frock. We’re looking forward to her article. Customers shopped the Spring collections with the exclusive friends and family discount and enjoyed wine and sweets to a soundtrack mixed from Track In A Box’s best tunes. All in all it was a truly magical evening.
For those of you that didn’t get the chance to check out the Thistle & Clover Diaries you can find the link here. We’ll be posting select pages from the diaries on our website in the following weeks so keep an eye out for those. Some pictures below for your viewing pleasure! xx

I first came into contact with Nadia Yaron & Myriah Scruggs when I was searching for a local upholsterer to create a chair for my new home in Park Slope. Nadia and Myriah are Fort Greene locals, and at that time were working out of their studio on Vanderbilt. I was instantly smitten by the gorgeous organic textiles and fabric work. After our initial meeting last year, Camilla and I have been toying with the idea of introducing Nightwood’s line of gorgeous re-purposed furniture to the store. I’m happy to announce that starting TODAY you can find Nadia and Myriah’s pieces at T & C for purchase.
Myriah and Nadia in their words have found a calling “transforming junk shop harvested materials into artful yet raw re-interpretations of otherwise neglected chairs, tables, cabinets and more. Nadia’s penchant for color, fabric, and detail paired with Myriah’s passion for construction, wood and pattern created a cohesive idea they named Nightwood.” The two launched their line in the Summer of 2008- at the Brooklyn Flea of all places- and have been on an upward trajectory ever since.
Their array of upholstered chairs, pillows, side tables and their signature mixed wood coffee table are all available for purchase! I shot a few sneaky pics while we were doing the install, but there will be more to follow. xoxo
Last night’s event was a smashing success, if we do say so ourselves. Our many (and multi!) talented designers introduced us to their uber chic and friends—hopefully now they’ve become ours!
